Raffi Dakessian is a consummate real estate professional. We first met in 2020 during the Covid lockdown, when he became my realtor and sold my condo. Without complaining, he never flinched, wholeheartedly working with me and my roommates’ schedules during the Covid pandemic. He was always available to answer questions, (I had many!), and was patient, creative, resourceful, and knowledgeable. Prior to listing the condo, he helped me find an appropriate subcontractor for the repairs I needed to make on the property, and although times and financial conditions were difficult, Raffi successfully sold my condo quickly and at a competitive price. Four years later, when my husband and I decided to relocate, Raffi was the first person I thought of. Once again, Raffi came to our aid and successfully helped us sell our home for a competitive price. He brought a greater sense of reality to the process than other agents presented to us. He helped us through the real estate sales process from photoshoot, to listing the house, to persevering with holding open houses either by himself or with members of his team every weekend until he found a buyer. Raffi was proactive in working with our buying agent in our new location to help make our move as seamless as possible. When it appeared that there might be obstacles that would create barriers in that side of the process, Raffi went out of his way to insure that any hiccups that were created by either the buyers of our home, us, or the home itself were mitigated to insure that we were able to close as expected both in selling our current house and in buying our new home. His knowledge and advice opened our eyes to the potential for positive outcomes we did not always see or know how to achieve. My husband and I both highly recommend Raffi Dakessian. If we ever decide to move back to the San Fernando Valley, we’ll ask Raffi to be our realtor and to help us find a home!

He guided me through the real estate sales process, smoothing out bumps, while consistently looking out for my interests. He is flexible, and highly creative in finding solutions. Through the process, Raffi always communicated responsively and effectively. He was always available, and he was willing to work through issues when other realtors weren’t. I don’t move often, but the next time I need a realtor, Raffi is the first person I am going to call.

As a first-time seller, I asked him tons of questions and he’d been very patient and proactive, staying on top of things every step of the way. Raffi is personable and a vastly knowledgeable Realtor. Anyone planning to buy or sell a home would be well aligned to work with Raffi. The sale of my house completed last week -- quite brilliant, really. Kudos to Raffi for being so helpful!

13 Jun, 2024I was trying to sell my first home in the Antelope Valley when Raffi reached out to me through contacts at Zillow. I was extremely hesitant to go through what I thought at first was going to be a lengthy and stressful process of selling my home. Raffi ensured me that the process was going to be smooth, extremely fast, and that he would be able to help me at every turn. He did just that and helped me completely close on my house through escrow within just a month and a half of being contacted by him. He follows up with what he says, and he made the process extremely easy for someone like me who works 10 hours/day on a night shift schedule. I would highly recommend anybody to team up with Raffi and I'm glad that I did not go with anybody else. Thanks again for the help, Raffi!

On the later, he recommended and was able to negotiate a substantial repair credit when we discovered a foundation issue during inspections. Raffi is extremely trustworthy, knowledgable, always reachable and straightforward -- highly recommended!

A good real estate agent is characterized by trustworthiness and honesty and unfortunately Raffi from John Hart Real Estate has demonstrated that he lacks morals.I am a veteran family and it has always been my dream to buy a home for me and my parents. Raffi asked me to submit a counteroffer on a property after I already offered over 10% asking telling me I was one of two offers in the final round. I submitted an even higher offer and was rejected but I knew that this was normal given the hot market. However, he then came back and said that I had won the offer and to expect an offer letter to sign the next day to which my family had to liquidate money in anticipation for closing. He then proceeded to tell us the next day that he had changed his mind and that he reneged due to another counteroffer after already telling us we had won the offer and to expect the offer letter (I have text evidence to prove this). It seems to me that Raffi is prioritizing a couple thousand dollars of commission over honest work and this truly disappoints me. My family is devastated and has suffered from emotional and financial damage as a result of Raffi’s dishonesty.
